Thanks SOOO much for the nice comment. It's hard to write a story and NOT have the cheating spouse come out looking like a total dick. (Oddly enough, after I posted this, I was listening to an old Nerdist podcast with John Barrowman and he talked about getting a BJ from a stranger on a plane, and I was like OMG, he really does have those pheromones!)
Holy shit. That challenge is from 06! I'm trying to remember and I think I saw the Jack Harkness challenge on a Scrubs/Torchwood crossover. It's more than six years late, but I just might submit this story :)
Ahhh I love this so much! Of course, I'm a sucker for anything Doctor Who or Torchwood related, and the idea to work the Pikes into this was amazing. Of course Dee is awesome enough to be related to time travelers <3
I also loved the pheromones line, and for some reason, I found the lines about Nicky to be perfect.
And hey, if you ever want to write another story about Victoria and Captain Jack, I wouldn't object.
Oh my God, Nicky grows up to be a Torchwood Agent!!!! He'll be like the Tosh of the future. And when he wants to have sexxxytimes with Jack, Jack'll be like, "I'm in to some weird shit, but even I can't bang my great-great grandson. Especially when I already banged his dad once."
This is so many months past, but I had insomnia the other night and was thinking about this fic. And I had an a-ha moment, and I'm totally writing Nicky Pike as a Torchwood agent fic. I can't wait for my kid to start school in a few weeks so I have time to write it!
