Poor Claudia-though I like how you're portraying the Kishis in this story! I'm also not surprised that Stacey is behaving like this.

Stacey has always struck me as the one who will be a party girl. I always imagined that Claudia would have a relatively close relationship with her family. The Kishi family was always very supportive in canon and I imagine that they continued that when Claudia got older.

Oh, same here. And I know that she didn't even care that Claudia was going to get in trouble. I agree with that-I think that the Kishis were incredibly supportive and I think Claud would have fully appreciated it when she got a bit older, like she is now.

Stacey could be very selfish in canon, so I could see her putting Claudia in a difficult situation like this. Poor Claud. I really liked the Kishi family dynamic here, and loved the references to/appearance of Mimi and Ashley Wyeth.

Oh, Stacey. I'm really not surprised by this. I mean, I would have hoped for better out of her, but I can also see her turning into a complete wild child. I can't wait to see what her mom has to say/do with all of this.

As much as I wish better for her, her personality in the books made me think that this is how she's going to turn out. And her mom is going to be fun to write. I've never written Maureen before.
