Haha, it's canon in Mallory and the Ghost Cat that Jordan is extremely ticklish, so I was like... hey, maybe John is too! idk I think about weird things. :P

Yup, the water fight scene was in the book. In chapter 8 of Abby in Wonderland, the BSC members throw a beach party in the Pikes' backyard to cheer up the kids because their Sea City trip was canceled. Meanwhile, "the senior Pikes were staying in their bedroom." It was that line, combined with this scene, that made me want to write this fic. :P
