I've always loved the idea of Jeff and Vanessa. It just makes sense in my head. ♥ I'm not sure when I'll post another J/V ficlet, but I definitely plan on writing a lot of them in the future, once I... figure everything out. This universe is being a pain. :P

This is super late - sorry, I don't know how I missed all these comments - but thanks so much for the review! ♥ I am glad you liked it, and I definitely plan on writing more Jeff/Vanessa in the future... just not sure when that will be. :)

Totally late to the party, but - this is golden! ♥ I love the chemistry between Jeff and Vanessa, and also the triplets' reaction to their use of the fort. But, admittedly, my favorite part might just be this:

“Actually,” Claire chirped, suddenly skipping into the kitchen and propping herself up on the counter next to the sink. No one was surprised that she had been eavesdropping. “I wouldn’t be so sure about that---about Mallory, that is. You know how her and Ben--”

“Ew,” Byron cut off Claire, fixing her with a disgusted look as he snatched a breadstick off Adam’s plate. “I did not need to hear that.”

Oh, siblings! :D

I was going through my author tag today and just realized I never replied to this! Thanks for the comment! ♥ I smiled when I read it, even if I am replying over two months late. :/

Sibling bickering is so fun, and Claire is one of my favorite Pikes to write because she is just so sassy. I also really love the idea of Jeff and Vanessa, although for some reason it is a bit challenging to write them at times! I'm not much of a romance writer in general, though, so it is probably just that... I'm always worried it is going to sound off?

Anyway, thanks again for the wonderful comment! :D
