i have been devouring bsc books lately in a fit of nostalgia... i'm very ill and i think they're kind of making me feel young again. so that my narrative would sound traditional isn't too surprising to me. although i didn't really realize it until you said something. now that i DO, though, i read it over and WHOA! i did write that JUST like one of the books. i like it. i'm going to try and keep it that way. :)
zomg, claud making her own dress... i hadn't thought of that... i may have to use it though. i can just picture a fabulous monstrosity with project runway flair...
I'm totally loving this. I love how Kristy's finally a "normal" person and not some super successful businesswoman. She's finally brought down a peg, I think. I also love how she's freaking out about being the last one not to be married. I think that's very Kristy-like. Can't wait to see more of this.
thanks! kristy is always a favorite of mine to write (no idea why...) and i love making her just a regular joe... so many people read kristy as this high strung psycho hellbent on power but when i read kristy i always see her as insecure. "kristy and the copycat," that's essentially ALWAYS the kristy i use when i write her. i think that book was a defining moment for her character.
As much as I'd like to hear perspectives of the other characters in this scenario, I think you write Kristy so well you could easily keep going in her POV.
thanks for the compliment but i think i'm going super special with this. the more i thought about the plot the more i realized i *want* to do a bsc where-are-they-now reunion thing. probably cos AMM simply refuses to.
off topic? i haven't read "sweet valley confidential" yet. god i'm dying to. yeah i know that was a bit random lol.
I'm waiting for the library to get it. Apparently it's on order so yay! I'll be able to check it out. They never got the new BSC book. Had to buy that when I was in NC last year. Ooh. I should reread that. :D
and there will be more! it's so nice to see all of you guys, the old ffn crew around. anyway, before i get mushy - i have essentially mapped out this entire story already. it just kept coming to me. now i'm going to pick and choose words from my table to make the story come to life. it won't be kristy pov but i assure you of old style bsc fun and of course drama with boys and each other. woooo!

(I also vote for the rest of the series to be from Kristy's POV, btw.)
