Huh, no. Clever idea. I don't think I'd want to do that for my own wedding dress -- keepsakes and all -- but if I ever had another event that I wanted to really drop jaws for, that'd be an awesome idea.

GAH!!!! that first dress is insane. i heart it so much!

you know, i wonder if you could find someone on etsy who could make something close to it for a bajillion dollars less...?

Perhaps, but fabric like that, in those amounts -- even made by an independent seamstress is probably still well out of budget.

Isn't it just stunning, though!? Retro yet modern all at once. I was floored when I saw it. I love how it fades from the cool blue into the warm peach...

The red one is different than the others, more "dragon lady" than "fairy princess," but I like both styles!

I absolutely adored this Dior collection. It's not often that I'm impressed enough by a full collection to actually look at the whole thing, but the classic, elegant whimsy of these looks was simply astounding. So much pretty!
