It was evening when Anna first woke up in the barracks, outside one of the many cabins. A little confused as to what was going on at first, and whether or not she had been captured without her knowing, she slowly stirred and looked around her. Dry leaves were stuck in her hair, which she promptly noticed upon a breeze blowing over her. It was with

He did, however, when he placed himself directly behind Anna put that overwhelming urge to hug her and never let go to bed. Geez, he hadn't seen her in a few centuries, but that didn't mean he was going to glomp her as soon as see her.
...He had an image as the badass older brother to maintain.
"You mean, besides me being here?"
Hello, Anna. Have you missed your big (not) lug of a brother? He's missed you.

...He likes bunnies, oddly enough.
Anyway, he's standing there with his eyebrow raised, his arms firmly crossed and a rather smug, bouncy smirk painted across his face - rather like an insane sort of mannequin. He's just acting really, he knows very well that she's perfectly innocent and even if she wasn't innocent he'd approve, but he likes acting - it whiles away the long hours of complaining.
"I think you've set a new record."

She offered him a final glance over before stepping back and turning away, knowing that he'd follow along after her as most humans would tend to do when presented with someone who didn't play into their game.
"As nice as record setting is, I'm trying to confirm how many of us are stuck here." This was spoken as she glanced back over her shoulder at him, and offered him a lopsided smirk.
Maybe he'd play along with her game now and divulge information, so she wouldn't have to play angel detective.

Loss is a strange man, a very strange man - and one who hasn't quite gotten over his superiority complex yet. And, as such, his smile only widens at her look - oh, he does love the ones that fight, they're far more interesting. "Perhaps you're picking out a target - a little slow, I'll admit, but at least it's a start."
And Loss, ever predictable no matter what he thinks, trails after her immediately; he's like an incredibly gangly puppy - always looking for some kind of attention, some kind of reaction.
"I'm not sure," he drawls, casually stuffing his hands in his pocket and concentrating on making his walk look as smooth and confidant as possible, "at least eleven besides me, and possibly a donkey - though I'm not sure if that's very helpful for your stalking purposes."

She supposed that she could have just said that she was looking for someone, but then he would have argued the point that she was stalking, which she wasn't. She simply thought of it as strategic and aggressive searching.
"And where, exactly, is the center of activity here?"

She's out right now, and he's been... stressed, so he's taken the opportunity to let his wings out and stretch them a bit. They're mostly folded flush against his back at the moment, so when Anna looks in, she'll see a rather large pair of white wings and a pair of legs sticking out from them as Mat flops on the bed. It's pretty obvious the wings are, y'know, attached to the person.
Mmmm, leering. It's a good thing Mat's not psychic, that'd freak him right out.

When she thinks that he's seen her, she motions for him to come outside, and tries to look as much like a useless college aged girl as she possibly can. It's a hard look to for her to master, and so she's sure she still looks authoritative and like she's plotting something. Which she is, it just isn't anything harmful.
She's just trying to get a headcount, that's all.

Namely, he yelps, quite sharply, and tries to get up and roll over at the same time, which just leads to a tangle of arms, legs, and wings on the ground. Yeah. Mat's graceful. Yup.
He finally manages to get himself off the ground and staring nervously out the window. A college kid, however, is not the terrifying thing he was expecting, and while she could theoretically be a fairy with a glamour or something, he can usually tell (they're bad at looking normal), so he cautiously comes outside.
"Um... h-hi?"

"I just woke up here, with no idea how I got here. Can you tell me where we are?"
