Dureena! I really do want her to have some kind of...maybe power isn't the right word, but the ability not to be jerked around by everybody. I love that she's analytical enough here to notice that maybe the sword isn't what it seems. But it seems very her to use what's at hand even if she doesn't trust it.

Ooh, I hadn't heard that was going to happen! That would've been a cool plotline, I think.

And yes I know exactly what you mean about writing the short versions of the longer stories you really want to exist someday. XD

These are going to end up convincing me to break out those Crusade DVDs...did JMS really want her to show up with a mysterious sword? That's awesome.
