It's been more than 2 Years since I've been on LJ, WHAT????....How has everyone been? Can I get some updates????...and considering the time passage my icon is still timely!!!!
Winchester is good, but not having anything fun in my life outside work is stressing me out too much (so said the ER nurse on Friday). Too many stalkers and potential murderers. But Apple Blossom festival is going to be starting soon -- they just announced the Grand Marshall is going to be Val Kilmer, which I find hilarious.
Something sent me to the ER -- I think I was actually coming down with something which, compounded by stress -- sent me to the ER. But they couldn't find anything wrong with me. But I've had a horrendous cough since, and now I've got a low-grade fever.
I do need fun! I like fun! I don't have any friends and -- I know it sounds insane -- but I literally haven't met ANYONE here in six months who isn't over 60 or a client. As the ER nurse pointed out, it's a very "family-oriented" town with lots to do if you have kids, but nothing if you're single. I don't have any friends.
But Val Kilmer = hilarious indeed! Also, the head of the fireman's parade is some guy I've never heard of, but he used to be the HAWTTT! star from some show called Emergency! in the 70s. Even more hilarious.
I have no idea when I'm heading back north to visit; not for a while, I'm afraid.
