This is the most unique take on a Casey/Zeke fic I've read and I absolutely love it. It's so darn touching that Casey clearly can't understand the message from Zeke that he has to live amongst his own kind. And poor Zeke can't see that he can't just set Casey loose somewhere. But you can't end here--hope there's a next chapter.

I absolutely loved this!!! How fabulous to cast Zeke as Bagheera. He is so like that, a sleek, dark cat, fierce and wild and free. And what an adorable little Mowgli Casey makes. I loved the way it only became apparent what/who they were as we were reading. The emotions were true and lovely and I'm glad you made them inseparable. Even when the Little Man becomes older, they will still be a shining and dangerous pair. Excellently done!!! *happy hugs* Good hunting!

Oh, my boys in the jungle. Thank you so much for writing it for me. What a great, little scene. And so Bagheera-Zeke, to think that he has to let him go because he wants to see him happy. And so Mowgli-Casey that he's not able to leave because his heart tells him where he belongs to.
