I don't even know where to start to tell you how much I loved this. The fact that the mermaids were evil fills my heart with glee. I love that there was a reason for Michael to go after them, that they were actually a lot more like their original myths than the Disney version.

My favorite part was the part about Adam coming on land and his new legs. I think it was because it made it clear that saving Michael meant pain for him and a sacrifice.

Just completely awesome!

I'm glad that you like the mermaids, I do like them being evil as well! It is so much more interesting!:) And Michael would have to chase the evil, right?

Michael and Adam are meant to be bound and I really can imagine Adam suffering to save Michael because he just felt like how important the man is and how much he already meant to him ;)

Michael would have to go after the evil! I was all "Michael, you shouldn't hunt the mermaids" and then there was the part about them eating people and I changed my opinion.

Well, I think sometimes Michael can be very stuborn in his search for evil but I definitely gave him a good reason to hunt the mermaids! ;)
(By the way I'm pretty sure Adam saved him because he wanted a piece of the Angel!:p)

This is beautiful. Your descriptions of angels and mermaids are poetically breathtaking. The Little Mermaid is one of my favorite fairy-tales and Disney adaptations. This was just similar and just different enough to be amazingly unique. ♥
