Also not saying a word, he throws me a box. I stay silent, surprised. I open the cute pink box, inside is a box of chocolates "Mon Chéri". My French may not been brillant but I'm still able to translate that, "My Darling" I smile like a child in front of a Christmas Tree. I can't wait any longer and after kissing Zeke loudly on the mouth I take one "Mon Chéri" and nearly choke myself. "What's that? Is that alcohol?" "Yupe" smiles Zeke "Chocolate and liqueur. Your favorite and my favorite! The perfect treat for us!" I try to chew it slowly and it isn't that bad, really. "Wait... Is that a cherry? It's good!" Now, Zeke is smiling like a lunatic. "Indeed. That is a cherry and my very favorite part too
