Great chapter, so glad you updated this story. Really love how you're dealing with the fallout from Doomsday and how closed off Chloe is b/c of the way Clark treated her.

What Clark did turning his room into something special for Chloe was beyond sweet. This is definitely the Clark we all know and love.

Most definitely. When I think of what TPTB turned him into this season, it drives me close to tears, seriously. It's unforgivable.

That was so sweet! I really miss the chlark hugs, SV just doesn't seem right without the chlark hugs. Glad that they are working on repairing their relationship. Chloe should make him really work for her trust and love. I can see it now: have Clark cook her dinner, foot rubs, running her bath with lots of bubbles, walking around the apartment naked for her viewing pleasure.

An entire season without a Chlark hug. That's how threatening Chlark is to Cnois. No matter what goes down on the show, I'll be comforted by the fact that the Chlark relationship was too much of a threat to their precious ship that it had to be sunk, and Clark's character destroyed.

I think sleep had softened her down a little; there wasn't time to put the armour in place, so she just enjoyed the ride!

Many thanks for that; I was worried I was getting too dramatic, but I didn't want to just skip ahead to the smut. There was so much water under the bridge that needed to be addressed, so I'm glad you think I did a good job with that. :-)
