My heart is broken for them. Of course Ollie will blame himself, trying to think of ways it could have been prevented, but the doctor was right. Sometimes there is no rhyme or reason for it. It just happens. Hopefully they'll both come to understand that in time.

I'm hopeful that they will. Once the initial torrent of emotions has settled, they'll look towards the future with hope and positivity.

Definetely heartbreaking.
And of course they'd blame themselves, not each other because that's just who they are!
Poor Chloe and poor Oliver, I can only imagine the kind of pain they are going through but I'm confident they will get out of it stronger and closer than ever.

Indeed. Even in their grief, each one is trying to spare the other any pain. That's true love right there. :-)
