Adrian has to be one of the coolest men on the planet--good for him for not being swayed by Lionel Luthor's throwing money at him and good for him for going immediately to Jonathan to find out what the heck is going on.

I figured Jonathan needed a break. He's got so much on his plate at the moment. :-)

Glad you like, hun!

Yep, Jonathan has some good friends! Or at least, one good friend. :-)

Thanks for commenting, Maddie!

They needed someone in their corner. They've been through so much!

That's not to say Lionel's given up - he's still very much intent on getting Clark's medical data. :-)

Glad you like, Jen!

What a smart thinking doctor, totally let Lionel bury himself six feet under before revealing the call was being recorded ( ... )

First of all, congratulations on another totally brilliant gif icon! :-D

"What a smart thinking doctor, totally let Lionel bury himself six feet under before revealing the call was being recorded!!!"

BOOM, bebe! :-D

"... "offered me everything except his first born..." I have a feeling "Aidy" will be seen again in this story."

Yep, he will. :-)

"I did ask where is a Virgil or Emil when you need one. Who in the world could you trust more than someone who defied Lionel Luthor for you! Wow, what a brave man!!!!"

It takes a strong man to stand up to Lionel Luthor, and Aidy Weismann's got the balls for the job. :-)

"But, of course, knowing the reason for Lionel's obsession would just put Aidy in danger as Jonathan so wisely expressed and Jonathan would never carelessly do that to anyone let alone such a friend as Aidy apparently is."I know, babes. Much as I would like to offer the counselling job to Aidy, it just wouldn't be fair to get him involved if it puts him in Lionel's cross-hairs. But we'll see more of the good ( ... )

Well, Jonathan is a good judge of character, after all! (I was not so sure, seeing as two of his friends he was so proud to have grown up with turned out to be quite disreputable people.) I'm glad Adrian turned out to be an ethical man. And Lionel was not very subtle or careful, was he? Hee! What a nasty surprise for him, finding out not everyone could be bought!

Jonathan is naive if he thinks the threat is over even for a short time. Lionel acted quickly. He's clearly shown he's not interested in patiently waiting for an opportunity. I have to say, Lionel's machinations are as interesting to me as the Clark/Chloe compliacated relationship. I really can't wait to see what happens next!

Ack. The less said about Sheriff Ethan and that other chap, the better!

"I'm glad Adrian turned out to be an ethical man. And Lionel was not very subtle or careful, was he? Hee! What a nasty surprise for him, finding out not everyone could be bought!"

...and incriminating himself in the process! :-P

You're right. Lionel's down, but not out - and he's going to act very quickly. Eep. :-\

"He's clearly shown he's not interested in patiently waiting for an opportunity. I have to say, Lionel's machinations are as interesting to me as the Clark/Chloe compliacated relationship. I really can't wait to see what happens next!"You'll get a general idea in the Epilogue, then there'll be a bit of a wait while I plot and plan the progress of Crisis II ( ... )

>>Apologies in advance for the wait! <<

*CRIES* You're going to leave us with one hell of a cliffhanger, aren't you?!!!:D

Well. I guess I'll be waiting patiently for Orchestrato. And distracting myself with Star Trek goodness. Normally I hate the end of the summer, but at least there'll be something to look forward to this time!
