Well, that went better than expected. But the Kent's are such loving and caring people, they couldn't exactly say no. I bet Jonathan is about to flip.
The coming conversation should be quite an interesting one.
I'm very curious to see how the new living arrangement is going to affect both of the kids. I wonder if Chloe will even sleep the first few nights. Couldn't be easy in Clark's bed. Whew. Glad you are writing this one! I'd have thrown my computer out the window by now...

Like you wouldn't believe! Bear in mind, the last he heard was that Chloe tried to drown his son in cold blood - and now she's about to live with them?!? Believe me, 'Flip' doesn't even begin to cover it. :-/
"The coming conversation should be quite an interesting one."
Yep. Chlark both got some serious 'splainin' to do. :-P

We'll see how things turn out on that front. ;-)

*cuddles* I'm sorry it's going so slow, babes. But I can't afford to rush it and get it wrong. Thanks very much for understanding!
Thanks for the super quick update! :-)"You're welcome! If I can get a few hours to edit, you

Good for the Kents for wanting Chloe's peace of mind above all else and I like the idea of them helping to feed the Sullivans--that's extremely thoughtful.
Now there is no way that Chloe can tell her dad what happened to her--he'd not only never leave her with the Kents, he wouldn't take the job and leave her on her own.

It is. I know it's going to be difficult for Chloe to be comfortable living with them while her Dad's away, but it'll help her knowing that the Kents have been looking out for her even before having to take her in.
"Now there is no way that Chloe can tell her dad what happened to her--he'd not only never leave her with the Kents, he wouldn't take the job and leave her on her own."Telling Gabe would shatter everything, and I'm not just talking about the fragile peace that Chloe and Clark have arrived at. Forget about the job, Gabe would go ballistic and probably end up doing something stupid out of grief and misery at finding out what happened to his baby girl and everything that had happened since. It'd be impossible for all of them to come back from that. And Chloe knows it would destroy not only him, but also ruin the one constant in her life that has remained untainted

Oh god! Oh god! Oh god! Talk about an awkward situation. I knew this was coming... Well not the Gabe getting a job in Wisconsin, but him asking the Kent's if Chloe could stay with them.
Poor Chloe is really stuck between a rock and a hard place. She can barely handle walking next to Clark and living with him, even though he's in the loft, is going to extremely hard for her.
Uh-Oh Papa Kent has called a family meeting... That conversation is going to be intense.
"Oh god! Oh god! Oh god! Talk about an awkward situation. I knew this was coming... Well not the Gabe getting a job in Wisconsin, but him asking the Kent's if Chloe could stay with them."
The conversation really couldn't have gone any other way, could it? Nor could Chloe's answer, there was no way she was gonna let her dad down. :-/

That's putting it lightly. It'll be difficult, but I'm counting on the Kents to be there to support her through it all.

Like you wouldn't believe!
"Can't wait for more."
Next chapter's almost ready, I'm hoping I can post it sometime this week. Thanks as always for your lovely comments, Shonnia! :-) *huggles*
