quickly, on Dina's laptop

Orientation is done. It was nice to meet the other candidates as well as the Dean of Health from UCN, the coordinator for Pathways, and I met one of the people that was involved with Manitoba PLEA, who now works with Pathways. It was interesting...

I have lots of thoughts buzzing around in my head, more than I care to type right now, especially on my BB but just know that all is well. The timeline of the program is not what I had hoped for - it could be another 18 months before I'm done because of the schedule for "gap filling" courses that won't start until later summer or Fall. All the rest of the information was great, I'm excited about the program, feeling positive about it in general.

We stopped at The Forks on the way back to the hotel, we'll be heading out for an early supper soon before Dina's plane leaves. It will be nice to just hang out and debrief tonight, hopefully with some chocolate in hand ;-)

The other exciting news is that one of my good friends (and now fellow Pathways candidate) is expecting another baby! So two of us in this room are expecting, and it's definitely not Dina or me!! So sweet to have a couple of baby bellies in such close proximity while we're going through this process, a sort of gentle reminder of why we're doing this.

So, the detailed update and photos will have to wait until I'm home :-)
