I am sorry about your head. When I am migraine-ish, peppermint oil on my temples really helps (also a dab on the back of my neck).

While you don't have a sense of smell, it's worth a shot if you have it laying around, right?

And yes, YAY re: our slumber party! I will send you and Joanna the short list for the hotels this week.

Bummer, no peppermint oil, just peppermint extract - lol. I suspect this is my optical neuritis-like condition flaring up, and only prednisone will sent it packing :-/

And I just can't wait to see you!! It's been way, way too long.

I can't tell you how excited I am for you that you are going to be in this program that will FINALLY allow you to reach your career goal! What a GREAT example of perseverence to your girls.

The cold sounds just AWFUL to work in. It is about -3 here with the windchill and we are whining... Next time before I whine, I'll think of you!

Funny story: Every year that we go to put our Christmas lights on the tree, no matter how we pack them, the DO. NOT. FUNCTION. I think we're cursed. We always end up making a lovely trip to Walmart (which I abhor) to buy more. No fail. Every year.

It's similar to how it rains every time we go camping. ;P

I just get goosebumps when I read about you becoming a midwife. So awesome. :)
