I just spent $150 on a Dooney and Bourke handbag. Why do I need a $150 purse? That's half a months rent! It was on sale and I wanted a designer handbag pretty bad, but come on Kathryn Mary, let's think about this...

My part of the rent is actually $275, but my parents pay $300. It's close enough to half my rent, lol.

Yea, since they don't have to pay the outrageous prive for me to live on campus they pay for half of mine. It's just like them paying for it with bright futures or pre paid except that we get some of that money back now and just put it towards rent.
