My car turned over to 100,000 miles today, right on the I-5/Route 134 connector. Heh, I even took pictures. I guess it's appropriate that she hit a big age milestone this summer, since my 30th is lurking in the background. Yay, we're becoming old ladies together

I bought new slides & a pair of sandals with questionable heels, but no Converse. (I spent an hour surfing their site. OMG, I don't remember having that wide a selection!) The mall was packed & the Converse store was out of the way :( But I need to go to Sephora at Eaton Centre, so I might buy shoes then.

I'm determined to have new Converse for Comic-Con!

I did the same thing, I think.
They're pretty espadrille-ish sandals-- had to cut the ankle ties about two feet, since I do not wish to look like any one of the men from the cast of 'Gladiator'... *but have discovered cannot walk normally in them, and appear to be doing v.g. imitation of
Felicity Huffman in 'Transamerica'-- not what I had in mind.

I'm scared of espadrilles. All that twine & cork... I love boots, but I couldn't find a decent pair this time of year. It's crazy, but I judge heels by my ability to run in them. You never know if you'll have to dodge snipers while wearing heels ;)

Thanks!! I should probably settle on a name for her, though. It's between Baby Girl and Little Girl. She doesn't seem like the type who'd have a "real" name.

Heh, I have that same problem after watching the movie. I finally had to replace it as my comfort film :)

I didn't know if you were busy with work or Little B, so I was going to e-mail my cell # & tell you to call or text it to me. Heh, because that's sooooo much easier than me asking you to e-mail it to me ;)

I've always been a procrastinator, but I happen to work well under pressure. The tighter & more important the deadline, the better I work. OMG, I didn't have time ot do laundry this morning, so I handwashed stuff last night. (No way am I going to a 24-hour place.) I hope they're dry when I get home.
