I had the best cereal ever this morning: Superman Edition Cap'n Crunch. It has little red Supes shields with blue specks, and the specks turn your milk blue. Blue!! And it doesn't look as nasty as it sounds. This is the best kids' cereal since Hunny B's. (Man, I wish they still made Hunny B's.) I wonder if Jerry Seinfeld knows about this new cereal ( Read more... )

free stuff!, rosenbaum!, music, cool cereal

Omg, I finished season 1 of Smallville! Please check out my thoughts here.

I am off to catch up on today's AMC and OLTL. How were they?

PS: Best Buy is having a Smallville sale, each season is only $29.99.

Hahahah. You big cheesball, you (says the girl who once sobbed over an episode of Futurama involving Fry's dog).

HA!!! Actually, I got misty-eyed over that Futurama ep, too. There's something about how Fry's dog looks so sad & a little pathetic. But my all-time top tearjerker is final 15 minutes of Six Feet Under's series finale. Dude, if that doesn't move you, then you're a robot.

Seriously, if you've seen TS2, you have to admit that Jessie's flashback scene is a tearjerker. I mean, she's so excited because she thinks she's going for a ride after all those years of neglect...

Okay, important music question -- that "Cubicle" song: a little annoying or perfectly kickass? I kinda waver depending on my mood.

Hee. I have not seen TS2, but it sound depressing. I guess I'm not a robot. Which, I must admit, is a little depressing. Robots are cool!

As for the song, it's got those "boop boops" in the beginning, and I like "boop boops" as a stylistic choice. I think that I like the part of the song that isn't from the commercial, and I get really into it, and then the part that is from the commercial comes on and I'm like "oh, it's that song from that commercial" and it loses something for me... does that make sense?

Seriously, you need to see both Toy Storys, but only when you're in the mood for them. They're actually not depressing; more like sweet & funny & cute but not in a pandering way. And, now you're ready for the OMG TEARS scene ;)

I like the "boop boops," too! I love songs that are easily identified from their intro. (You know, in case Name That Tune ever comes back.) "Cubicle" is a good thrashing around song, but yeah, I know what you mean about the commercial thing. Soemtimes I can't listen to The Who or The Clash or Zeppelin because of that.

Gah, that Illinoisian needs some serious editing! Witness:

"Rosenbaum, with hair instead of Luthor's trademark chrome-dome, and a beard he said he grew just because he was coming home to the Midwest (he's from Evansville), Rosenbaum cheerfully teased Bender's newcomer status, and showed his proper respect to Niell and Wolfman."

::headdesk::

In other news, thank you for the links and the music!

Aw, your job has spoiled you for poorly written celebrity gossip. Tragic!

Aw, I know how Starky feels. Usually, when I say I "watched" something, it means I listened while it played in the background. Work's got me set to look for shot changes & it drives me crazy.

But won't you become spoiled like us with your new job? And OMG, if I'm ever in your area (heh), I want a tour of the NYPL.

Sure! Heh, we should both just take the little guided tour together, because I probably know even less about it than you do.
