moblo413 It’s only ink.
It’s just a tattoo, just a stain on a scar that won’t go away.
It’s not that uncommon, in this day and age.
Except that it is. Uncommon. Completely removed from the norm. The most exquisite artwork to which Tom has been close and it is all because of the canvas. It is all the canvas moving, the ripple of the soft pink panel as Tom runs his fingers across it.
When he blows, softly, over its surface, it’s a whisper that sends the painting into a shiver, a twist of muscles and a gasp that lets the tickle know it’s won.
It’s only ink but it tastes of pure pleasure when Tom opens his mouth against the paint, traces each side to a point with a firm, eager tongue.
Then the man who is both him and his opposite begins to twist, jerking up and turning, trying to persuade Tom’s love bites to creep sideways and leave his kisses where they would be so well appreciated.
It’s just a self-inflicted scar. A permanent mark on a perfect base to which Tom can devote endless minutes of worship. Something to focus on as he tries and tries to teach himself sufficient restraint to put off the inevitable devouring of flesh that tugs at him.
It’s only ink, but it’s something real to remember when he curls his hands around himself, the times they can’t be aligned.
It’s just a star, but once restraint is abandoned and fingers have become tight at their destination, it’s a target to aim for. It’s a base for his own alabaster paint and his abstract approach to art.
It’s only a tattoo. It’s only a scribble on the surface of the world.
