*Jantet laughs* "You laugh like Fran Drescher!"

Jul 02, 2009 12:33

With respect to Fran Drescher and in honor of her 9 year anv. being cancer free, I have made a little picspam. Now, I've loved this woman for about 5 or 6 years. My aunts got me into watching The Nanny, and Fran got me into Barbra Streisand, Barbra got me into Judy, and Judy got me into the rest of the classics which I know and love today. LOL I can't believe I recognized the subject. Sadly, when I ripped that album to my computer, I left out most of the interludes and intros and such. I don't care for interludes, and I wanted to make it a more seamless experience to listen to each individual track. But I love that part of the intro. I also love her "Fasten Your Seatbelts" interview from The Velvet Rope because of the Bette Davis references and impersonations. "BUTCHA AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH, YA AAAAAAHHHHHH IN THAT CHAIR!"

I can't belive you do either. I wasn't expecting anyone to recognize it. HAHAHA! I love her Interludes! That's one of the main reasons why I buy her albums rather than just download the songs from limewire or something. I love listening to her talking, and doing stupid shit. I love the Bette refrance TOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh my GAWD! I LOL whenever I hear it!!! And of cource, the Franella one. The first time I heard, I ran out of my room and had to tell my mom! HAHAHAHA!!!

I think the only interlude from AFY I kept was the "Clouds" interlude before "Son Of A Gun," cause it was really just like an extended intro for the song. But I just made it and SOAG into one MP3. For that album, I did a lot of artificial fade-ins and fade-outs so that each track is separate, cause they either fade into one another or fade into the interlude. I think I did a good job, but we're getting off the main subject, which is Francine Joy Drescher who wins so hard at life.

Oh, dude, that's awesome! Y'know, like you didn't like the way it was so you fixed it. I'm not the crafty. HAHAH. I love the fade-ins to the songs from the interludes. Like the Clouds one! Which is exaclty like you said, and extended version of the song. :D I love the "What's the next song?" "The one about me" Right before Got Till It's Gone
Yes, yes, back to Franela.
Fran invented the phrase, "Win at life"

"Is the butler as funny in real life. I think he just steals the show."

I didn't know that she is so active in that health movement, I only knew her from "The Nanny". I saw that series years ago and I never forgot it - so funny! ^_^

Nice pictures!

The Cancer Shmancer movement is HER movement. She was really sick 9 years ago, and she'd been to 12 different doctors who all told her she was just going through manapose, but she didn't believe that that was her diognosis, she kept seeing different specialist until one finally found the cancer in her Ovaries. To make a long story short, they found the Cancer, took out her Ovaries, and she's been Cancer free for the last 9 years. ♥
The Nanny is indeed hillarious.

Thanks!

There is just something different about watching it on tv. You never know what episode they might play!

I knowww! I hate that they don't go in order. Take for instance, yesterday. They where playing eps of when Fran and Max are married, then right after they played an ep from S2 or 3. It was weird.
