My Essure went perfectly today.  Both coils placed successfully, no after-effects...hell, the Valium didn't even make me groggy!  Even the needles were fine.  The first one was one of those "quicky" shots that are over before you even know they started, and I barely even felt the local...although I think it helped that I didn't actually see the ( Read more... )

I found this article on one of the childfree boards I frequent.  It's always reassuring to see I'm not all that anomalous.

I have nothing to do.  But at least I got to leave the house today.  I had laser appointment #2, which was as uneventful as laser appointment #1.  I also found a Theory jacket on sale at Bloomingdale's.  It was just what I was looking for, so that made the trip worthwhile.  I might even go back downtown this weekend and scour the stores for ( Read more... )

I got a letter today confirming that the University is allowing me to waive my insurance policy.  Woohoo!  Less than a week until my uterus becomes a permanently fetus-free zone.

Oh, and I handed in the final copies of my dissertation today.  It's good to be done
