I love the Hunger Games - I read the books and now can't wait to see how they turn books 2&3 into films. Catching Fire will be interesting also since the screenwriter of it is working on Star Wars Ep VII.

Oh, I did read the first book that I totally enjoyed by the way. I did not enjoy, however, how they messed up the ending in the movie. I've heard that the second book is the best as far as storytelling! I'm looking forward to reading it. I do have until November, right??

Man of Steel - Reboot - could be a lot of fun, but Nolan's involvement in this has put me off (did not care much for Inception and I don't know who he was fooling into thinking the last trilogy he was making for were Batman movies...)
Iron Man 3 - Sequel - HELLO my fave superhero!
The Wolverine - Sequel/Reboot - Count me out. I'm one of the mutant hating scum.
Monsters University - Sequel - Haven't seen the original, nothing drawing me to this yet.
Anchorman: The Legend Continues - Sequel - Zzzzz...
Star Trek: Into Darkness - Sequel of a Reboot - What do you mean it's NOT Khan?
Jack Ryan - Sequel/Prequel/Reboot/WhatEVer - Isn't Ryan supposed to be in his late forties at this point, four months prior to being sworn in on his first terms as President?
All in all - one movie I will see for sure. Not a good run on that particular list.
Stuff I want to watch that isn't listed:
Pacific Rim - NEW STUFF - ( ... )

As far as the rest of this list (Star Trek stands out), but I really have no interest in them and after Iron Man 2 ... *meh*
Your additional movies?? Only a few of those are mentioned in the issue. Cloud Atlas has gotten horrible reviews, plus it sounds dumb and way too confusing to be interesting.
I've seen the previews of Pacific Rim ... *shrugs* Rip off of Transformers if you ask me..
The rest ... rent 'em if I'm still interested six months from now!

First of all, I do have to say I agree with you that in terms of spectacle and tone - and I've defended some of the choices in the portrayal of Clark's "missing years" to people who didn't get the whole beard and fishing trawler moments, as an example - there's very little that seems wrong. Casting also appears to be quite good - but I thought all of these things going into BALEman Begins. Much of the stuff I found disagreeable in the Nolanverse was down to creative decisions made by Nolan - and that's what's sparking my hesitancy. If his name were nowhere near this, I would be on this ( ... )

I just hope Man of Steel will put SR to rest once and for all. Sheesh, it's been seven years now, and I did not hate that movie, but it's amazing how most folks still do. It irritates me, but I shrug it off as much as possible. I just hope MOS lives up to the hype, and the chemistry rocks, and Henry soars to new heights with the character!! *please Zach AND Chris* Your reasons for being leery and the ones most folks are giving it a chance. Strange how everyone has an opinion about it before it premeires. That's fine too. Only five months to the day!! :D
Pacific Rim, ummm, I didn't mind the trailer that much. The kids will love it, I hope. You know more about the backstory of it, and so I'll give it a shot! I loved Transformers and of course the comparisons will come and that's expected. I like the casting.
You said it ... HOLLYWOOD!! The scans are now up!!
