LOL, funny but yeah, a misstep there. The more I think about though, I get it. Its an image any human can identify with and of course the inevitable questions it raises.
I kind of like now, because it reminds me of TNAOS that I loved mostly because of Dean and Teri..!!
As for the Dean and Teri vibes you're getting - I can kinda see it. That being said - I somehow imagine that the CLois in this universe that Nolan and Snyder is building will be just as muted as that found in the current comics - minus the whole Clark and Diana thing currently going on (and the fact Clark quit the Daily Planet because he couldn't take its post-Perry White sensationalist direction).
On the whole, don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to this blend of DCnU/New 52 and John Byrne's Man of Steel canon in the upcoming movie (oh look - a Origin Movie Threeboot based on the two Comic Book Canon Origin Reboots! Talk about mythical cycles in the retelling!). I just hope it's as good as the trailer looks, my silly thoughts excluded.

No, no, don't bring up THAT!! I don't even want to think about DC Comics and their insane New 52 mess. Just let me bask in this for a few months, please!!
Does DC canon even exist. Reboots, origin movies, retellings and all that crap is stupid.
There's only thing that has survived all of it ... Clois will NEVER go away, no matter what they do, OK!? That's just the way it is, and Clark's human side cannot be squashed under their stupid bootheels. There..

I mean, how else besides insanity can you explain my latest post ABOUT THE TRAILER ITSELF?
