The Artistic Achievement/Validation Scale

So I was bored and thinking about how getting into the Source festival would affect my artistic self-esteem, and I ended up making a -100 to +100 scale of artistic achievement/validation.  (In other words, the scale can be used either objectively, to compare other artists, or subjectively, to say how successful you feel.)

I personally place myself around 27 as a playwright, around 22 as an actor, and around 11 as a prose writer. My band Grasshopper is probably around 25. If I get into Source festival, I will feel like I went up to around 35 as a playwright. If I get my novelette "Threshold of the Stars" published in one of the places I hope to get it published, I'll feel like I went up to a 40 as a prose writer.

Note that the scale, if you were to graph it, would be something like a bell curve. Achieving large positive or negative numbers is very difficult. One could potentially very easily go from a 10 to a 40 almost overnight; but to go from a 60 to a 70, or from a 90 to a 95, is extremely difficult and rare.
