I am a new comer to live journal so please bear with me! I couldn't help but notice the book by Alain de Botton on your August list. I have read most of his books and adore his style and his philosophy. I haven't yet read "On love". I particularly enjoyed "The art of travel (2002)". I loved the inclusion of paintings and images throughout the book.
I have just borrowed his latest book :"The architecture of happiness" but haven't yet started it.

I have just finished my PhD, where I had to read scientific papers, so being able to read books feels like a luxury at present!
