It's supposed to have a happy ending...

So I read the news about Patrick Swayze and while I feel terrible for him and his family and hope with all my heart there is a happy ending I can't help but feel pancreatic cancer is finally, finally being shown for the agressive, life sucking, terrible disease that it is. There are actually businesses/research companies popping up here in the states that are focusing on the less well known/less researched cancers (and other diseases, particularly childhood diseases). I don't know what it means in the long run, but at least there has been some recognition that there are some diseases for which there is little drug research.

I'm sure hearing about it all is frustrating for you.
