We have this controversial scientist in Denmark that run the phenomenae 'Copenhagen Consensus' - which is a group that gathers scientists et al from around the globe to make priority lists of the 10 largest problems in the world. This week he was on TV after he had be rediculed by your Al Gore on invironmentprograms - amongst others dealing with CO2. This problem is not new - and the current heating can easily be explained by natural phenomena like extra vulcanooutbreaks etc. There is a somewhat agreement with the fact that humans are at the most responsible for 2% - however we can change more than the 2% issue with tecknology. And this is where this scientist come in. He said in the program that if you compare two of the great problems the calculation (though it is correct we usually don't prize things like human lives and invironment this is point where he is controversial - should money be the point of workpad?) we have on the one side 28 million people we can save from ( ... )
