Chapter 4

Eames began sketching out the fresco with Ahuatzin's notes as soon as they returned to the hotel. He used several sheets of paper: one with the general overview and several others with close-ups of the details. It was quite late when Ariadne finally approached him.

Arthur narrowed his eyes, "What other animals was she associated with Eames?"
Eames pouted, "Owls," Arthur nodded, "and uh jaguars." Arthur scowled.
Bahahahahahaha! There are some really great comedic exchanges between Arthur and Eames in this. And I LOVE that Arthur has a sense of humor and is kind of a nerd. <3

And I really like how you wrote the sex. I like that it was fun and relaxed. And you had some wonderful little details in there.

This was such a fun read! Great job. :D

I'm glad you enjoyed the Arthur-Eames exchanges. I (somewhat narcissistically) laughed at the dialogue as I was writing it, so I had a really good time writing their banter.
As for Arthur, I figured if he's going to be into Lara Croft he has to be at least a little into gaming.

Glad you enjoyed. :)

OMG I loved this!!! So perfect! I love Arthur and Eames's banter about who's the better archeologist/raider, I love that Arthur and Ariadne are gamers, and I love that both the dialogue and the sex is easy and no-nonsense, it feels very realistic. Despite the giant spiders (so great), this seems like a pretty amusing and relaxing kind of job for them, which I absolutely love! Well done! <3

Thank you for your kind words.
I did have quite a lot of fun writing the bickering.
I'm glad you enjoyed the sexy bits, I wasn't sure how well that would fly.
As for the ease of the job, funnily enough while it may have been relaxing enough for Arthur, Eames and Ariadne, * I*spent a ton of time doing the research on the pre-Colombian architecture and artwork, cause I'm apparently a nerd.

Your research really shows through though! Which is another thing I love about this fic...I only have a very basic knowledge of pre-Columbian art and architecture, but I just felt engrossed in this story and remembered thinking at one point "I wonder if this is something she studies, because there are so many great little details!" As a fellow nerd, I very much appreciate all your extra work! :-D
