Swirlies for the New Kid, or a Week in Review

It's been a rather interesting week or so. I think I'm settled in a bit more around here, which comes with both good and bad sides, as most things generally do. I'm not certain I want this to be home, even away from home. This isn't some longing for Miami thing, it's more a desire to be anywhere that really fits. I'm afraid there was, at that. It even had all the hallmarks of a good party -- interesting locale, interesting people, a proper assortment of beverages, and a bit of threatened violence that didn't boil over to the riot state.

Hopefully, Heaven and Earth will simply part ways and allow you to make the next one as things should be.
