hey, guess what i went as this year? amanda from the dresden dolls. i also had a harriet the spy backup costume. i couldn't decide between the two, but in the end i went with amanda because the harriet clothes looked too much like what i wear on a daily basis. i kind of felt like one of those jerks who wears a shirt that says "this IS my costume!!!11111" even though it was actually a canonical outfit. next year for sure.

i totally wish i could have seen. i agree with the reason why you made your final decision, especially since that would also apply to me. hah. in a lot of ways this year was sort of a disappointment (probably because i was expecting so much + then i was let down for a number of reasons). boohoo. oh well. for now, next year's plans are top secret--i am writing them all down + then they will be revelead for the celebration of all hallow's eve 2k6(66)! so excited!
