The irony here being that I omitted my first response--basically the *evil laughter* of an unrepentant angst writer--because I thought the dry tone wouldn't come across clearly. And apparently I made even more of a hash of it. So now I'm left saying ridiculous things like sorry, I didn't mean to imply that I thought your comment was a criticism. Which is, as far as basic human communication goes, a scenario of more or less epic fail. *facepalm*
I think Merlin and Morgana are particularly hard to make fluffy--they're all about sex and secrets, power and betrayal. And not, you know, joyful girly hugs, small kindnesses and bunches of wildflowers like Morgana/Gwen. Or even sharp-edged but playful and ultimately supportive bickering like Arthur/Morgana (which, god help me, is doubtless my least favorite ship when actual sex'n'romance is involved--except when done with creepy emotionally incestuous overtones and then I'm, like... meh, yeah okay, I'll go there)Though now I am oddly intrigued with the thought of ferreting out some plausible

I do not have words to tell you how I adore the crack!fic. They're all wonderful, but that one . . . it's just making me perfectly, ridiculously happy.
I think every time I do this meme, the crack!fic comes out as one of the best. Which makes no sense, considering I have only two modes as a writer and neither of them gets within a thousand yards of crack.
I still just adore this challenge format. I hadn't ever considered this pairing before (oh, to be new in a fandom, and not yet have considered every possible permutation), but I must say that I am now seriously intrigued. I really like these.

even though your fluff is damn angsty
Point taken. Though, to be fair, odds are Merlin/Morgana isn't ever going to end well.

And thank you for all your comments. RL is complicated at the moment but I appreciate them, even if it takes me a little to keep up! *g*
