Well, no, let's do the uncensored version. Which goes, OhmyGodohmyGodohmyGod, eeeeeee!! That's fucking gorgeous, that's too good for me to have possibly been even remotely and tangentially involved in its existence, ohmygod squeeee!!
I may be able to say something more coherent later. But it may take a while, because the overwhelmed thing is pretty overwhelming. Right now, I have to content myself with saying that it is making me particularly happy that this afternoon I'd managed to do a draft of the rec for the other three pieces, because now that I've written that one up, it would be silly and wasteful not to give this one its own individual rec.
Damn. I keep using my 'best thing evar' icon, because it is, but then the next one is even better, and what to do?!
But, oh, this story. I am so impressed by how much is conveyed in allusions and brief references, all the big epic plot and changing powers sketched in with so little. And this piece! There is So Much here. I'm fascinated, and want to pull it all apat and get more on each piece, but it's so lovely and detailed as it is, all complicated and intricate. This is amazing.
Thank you! I call it, 'What to do if you fall for an Epic plot bunny that refuses to leave when you're totally incapable of writing on an epic scale. Like, at all.' *g* Though, to be fair, Phoebe was more or less responsible for this as well, since it occurred to me that she managed to make an epic AU from scenes and heroic miniatures, so maybe it would work for this, too.
