Kudos on "growing up", too. That isn't an easy decision to make. Not that I think that creating music is ever really immature. (Though I'm biased on both ends of that sentence.)

i hear you loud and clear. i gave up on it all last year when i went to a few events and came away so disapointed. if some amazing dj comes i will go, but its not on my priorities list any more. i still have a deep love for it all but these days i can hear my clock ticking...
Yeah, there's only so much you can put up with before you become jaded and a hindrance. DJ'ing at least gave me a chance to make a contribution, but now that there's no music coming out that makes me go "I wanna play this to fifty ba-million-zillion people" then it just ain't worth it.
