Ahh, it had occurred to me that Mycroft might be watching. I half expected him to burst in and save the day at some point. But of course Moriarty had known and set up a distraction.

Lestrade! SUCH A GOOD EGG. Flashing his badge to let Sherlock stay, taking him home and getting him cleaned up, putting a guard on their flat, aaaaaaaaaawwwww~ LESTRADE YOU ARE THE BEST. ♥♥♥

And Sherlock lurking about being all protective, and then HAPPY SQUISHY FLUFFY ENDING YAY. :D :D :D

I'm glad you enjoyed protective Sherlock and the happy squishy ending. I enjoyed writing both of those things. Protective Sherlock makes me inexplicably happy, hehe. :D

OH MY GOD NEW SHERLOCK EPISODES! *flails* I am so excited to! Yeah, season one rewatch is on my to-do-in-the-next-24-hours list, definitely. :D

This was absolutely marvellous! I waited until it was all posted to read it, and I'm very glad I did! I loved it, and John figuring out that the Harry Potter clue was too easy was a particularly good touch :) The entire chase was wonderful, and you clearly put a lot of thought into it. I loved the moment where John gave up hope by the mural, it was heart breaking, and Moriarty being in the flat with them was brilliant! Sherlock forfeiting the chess game was equally incredible, and this final scene was just incredibly sweet <3 I could keep listing scenes I liked, but it would end up being all of them, so I'll stop with those. I said it at the beginning, but it bears repeating: this is marvellous and I loved it! :D Definitely bookmarking :)
