Last Night of the Proms // Proms in the Parks

On Saturday, I had the great pleasure of going to the BBC's Proms in the Park in Buile Hill Park, Salford, with the lovely Ice_Elf, whose birthday it happened to be! So, HAPPY BIRTHDAY (once again) to Ice_Elf!

Ice_Elf and I, along with siraplowe, headed into Salford at around lunchtime to drop our bags off at the hotel before going on to Pizza Express at Salford Quays. The

It really was a fun day! :D

I've taped the last bit (from YNWA onwards), but sadly I never spotted you. Next time you come over, remind me to put it on and we'll see if we can see you! For some reason, the Salford prom only seemed to appear in the YNWA and the rest of the closing songs seemed to be between the Hall and Hyde Park. :-/

Aw, no! We waved at the camera and everything! (I think there's a separate show on the BBC iPlayer that's just the Salford Prom, so maybe try watching that? I'm going to have a look myself tomorrow.) Well, I hope the Hyde Park and the Hall shots were fun to watch anyway. Did you join in with the songs? :P

It really was. Heh, this is a selection of the best. (Most of my ones of John, in particular, are blurred. *sob* The man moves about too damn much!) We'll have to share photos at some point.
