The thing only is that cooking doesn’t really relax me. Like, I can’t really enjoy it, because seeing that what you’ve prepared for 1 hour being devoured in like 10 minutes is...

AYKB, cooking generally does relax me, but I get this: the work/fun ratio in cooking one single meal would probably interfere with the relaxo factor if I had to do it every day, and every day just for one meal. That's why I like cooking things in batches and then freezing, because it makes the whole thing seem more worthwhile as it's going on.

Heee, yeah it is more beneficial to cook in batches. I used to cook for 2-3 days, because cooking every day would've driven me crazy. But since I didn't have a freezer, I couldn't really cook in batches. (Though I think I like the thought of "opening the freezer and just taking out food" waaaaay more than the thought of "cooking los of portions in batches". *g*) Though I think that at the moment it's also because I can't really cook according to my own schedule, so that adds some extra stress on everything. While knowing people who find cooking relaxing rather destresses me. :P
