I think it helped me to realise that crying =/= weakness. :) But yeah, I do understand that feeling...
Songs... oh God yeah! There are some songs of which I have very precious memories (or they just touch me deeply) and hearing them always makes me sniffle...

Yeah, I know what you mean-I’m kind of weird about this. I cry relatively easily at movies, etc., but I only tend to cry over imaginary things-generally not over big and/or real-life things, like a death. In a way, it’s like if I’m crying over something, that’s proof that it doesn’t matter to me all that much, because I can express it in one big catharsis like that. When something *really* gets to me, I don’t cry. I actually can’t cry. Sometimes I think it would be easier if I could.

(It’s not a hard-and-fast rule, of course-I get choked up at funerals like anybody else. But even then, that’s not exactly crying over the death, it’s just being moved by the atmosphere and the speeches and the emotional context. It’s a detached kind of feeling compared to the feeling of actually losing someone.)

That is very interesting, actually! But it also kind of makes sense, I guesss? I mean, especially if the things that make you get chocked up at funerals are more like the "imaginary" things. (Well, they are not really imaginary, of course, but there is a difference between the feeling of losing someone and feelings bubbling up because of an emotional context. )

Sometimes I think it would be easier if I could.
Heee, yeah I get that. It does feel good to let things out like that every now and then. I do wish I had more of a middle way... sometimes I cry way too much and way too easily over pretty banal things and that's when I go on my own nerves. And that's also not when the crying is helpful in any way... (Now if I could give some to you and then I wouldn't cry so easily and you'd cry when things really get to you...#lifecouldbesoeasy #ifonlywehadsuperpowers)

Getting into the bandwagon.... I also cry easily, if it's a movie/tv show, song or book, I'm sort of ok with that (though I can be really really lame with what makes me cry... Yamaneko can make me cry or teary-eyed almost every episode.... even without the subs and not understanding fully what they're saying... see? lame). Sad real-life events also...

What I don't like about me is that at work, when I've done a mistake, or a client is being unpleasant/aggressive on the phone - I just can't keep it together :(( It's just not good... I've once started crying on an evaluation meeting in front of my boss, because at the time I was going through a very tough time at work - useless to say it was really embarrassing but I just couldn't control myself, I had been emotionally on my limit I guess.

A charming point... I like that lol!

High-five, sister! Yeah, especially TV stuff makes me cry SO EASILY. Though I actually haven't cried through Yamaneko yet... *pets you*

Urgh, I totally get that about work too!!! That's something that would also make me cry easily. Especially if things are rough and kind of difficult around me. And then of course at work, this is way more embarrassing than in front of friends or family. :/ I hope that you're not on emotionally on your limit anymore, though! *hugs*

A charming point... I like that lol!
:D Well, that's what it is!
