There is no end to the excitement. After deciding that the best thing for the both of us was to get out and have some fun, A. scratches her eye while removing a contact lens. It didn't really bother her at first and off we went to chocolate at the chamber. After only a few minutes there the smoke was really irritating her eye and so we left. I ( Read more... )

O my gosh -- I'm so glad that everything is ok, but what a night! I hope A. is feeling better -- that's absolutely awful that she's hurt. Good for you for rescuing her. Bad nurse for being so silly. :(

Yikes. Wondered why you didn't show up for coffee. Glad to hear everything is ok. Adair seems a bit accident prone on weekends.

I am, however, a bit paranoid that you have had enough experience with ERs to know that Piedmont is the least busy....

Wow! What Becky and Mike said.. that'd explain why you guys skipped out on Innovox. I hope she'll get better soon :-/.

It's a very, very, very small consolation, but if you have a black light, the dye can be fun. At first, you have the creepy glowing devil eye, and then you get flourescent snot as the dye works its way out through the sinuses.
