Oubliette
The room was too bright, blinding, mirrors everywhere -- some with fine webs of radiating cracks, others smashed and in places falling away to reveal new mirrored surfaces beneath, layer upon layer, jagged edges overlapping; broken glass covering the floor, bloody handprints on the walls; and extending upwards as far as the eye could see were lamps suspended on invisible wires, rising to no ceiling, just brighter and more distant lights. The faint echoes of voices descending from above merged into a soft blur, dropping away to silence as the trapdoor slid shut and vanished.
Eventually, they say, you just disappear.
