Tsuzuki-san called in sick today. So it is Tatsumi who writes up all the paperwork for their latest case.

The light is irritating, but Tatsumi doesn't let it distract him from what must be done. He has not been able to work at peak efficiency this week (many weeks, in fact). And tonight there is an additional piece of paperwork.
The light flickers. Off. On. Tatsumi tries not to think about the blank form waiting for him in the top right-hand drawer of his desk. Reason(s) for transfer --
It's almost midnight when he finishes the case report. ...unable to save... He could put off the rest of his work until tomorrow. (Or next week, just one more week.) He could.
He opens the drawer. All the shadows in the room twist and quiver. Tatsumi tells himself it's only the flickering of the light.
