So I've gotten to the point where I try to read LJ as often as I can, comment sometimes, but I hardly ever post anymore. Mostly because all I've got to talk about is school, because that pretty much consumes my entire life right now. So, because I'm curious, I'm reposting it ( Read more... ) -

It's 10:30 p.m. By tomorrow morning at 9:00 I should have some good ideas and be inspired about the next show I'm designing. I have oodles of research (well, at least some...) Good ideas? Not so forthcoming. -
It's the little things...
Across the street from the theatre, near a sandwich shop I'm always walking to, is a doctor's office/cosmetic procedure/spa kind of thing. The names of the doctors are written on the window.
The plastic surgeon's name is Ben Tittle.
I am highly amused by this, because I am apparently twelve. -
Counting down...
So finally, halfway through the design program, I'm beginning to turn out work that's good. Work that I'm proud of, even. I'd been meaning to document the process of this latest show since set construction began, but I never remembered my camera until today, when everything has already been installed in the theatre and minor details are being ( Read more... ) -
Multitasking
Right now I'm trying to get my laptop sorted out after upgrading to Leopard AND trying to draw costume renderings for The Tales of Hoffmann at the same time.
Multitasking at its finest. -
Trouble in mind...I'm blue...but I won't be blue always...
So tonight is the first night the cast will rehearse on the actual set that's been built. Next week we'll tech the show. I was worried that this show wouldn't be ready to go to tech with only three weeks of rehearsal, but we saw a run-through last night and it's almost there. I Will Survive (this semester)
