Er...do the people that make these compilation albums of children covering today's hit pop songs actually LISTEN to the songs they're getting kids to sing?

In the process of assembling a playlist for my drive to Minneapolis this weekend, I discovered the existence of a "Kids Sing'n the Hits" version of Rihanna's Shut Up and Drive. I enjoy this

I don't even approve of "Shut Up" being in a song presented to children, that's how square I am.

Oh dear lords.... That's... yeah. Some of the stuff I've heard on the commercials, no, they don't listen to the lyrics at all. That's creepy, and more then a little pedophile like. *shudder*
