It's gratifying to have it quantified that people DO want to read that kind of stuff, I suppose. For a long time, I really believed 90% of fandom was vanilla. NOPE. They're just lyin'.

Totally!! I think there's a higher return readership with kink, non-monogamy, incest, etc. too. That story of mine, in particular, is incredibly niche.

I wish people would, like, comment more on those stories, in a way--it's nice to have a gauge beyond hit counts, yanno?
