I remember that fic! I liked it a lot. There's a chance I might have liked it even more with capital letters, but who am I to stifle your creative freedom. What's more I remember it got remixed into a rather good WWII AU, although I never understood quite how that got from there to here.

I know too much about old SN fiction.
