A little piece of fluff

I wrote a Hermione/Snape fic, finished yesterday. Just a little piece of fluff. It's my first try at fan-fic, written mostly so I don't just look like a troll over at Ashwinder. It was fun, I might do it again. I'll post over at Ashwinder once I get it beta'd, any volunteers?

oh. i like this. i like this a LOT! The subtle emotions flowing between them in their verbal sparring. Hermione's strength and determination. Severus's hesitance and deflection, the uncertain "hope" he's trying NOT to entertain (for fear of the consequences for both of them).

VERY in character for both of them, even if i'd never thought of the pairing before. It... works. And if anyone can manage to stand by Severus through everything (the censure of the wizarding world's less informed, Severus's own foul tempers and self worth issues, etc) - it's Hermione.

VERY well written and very well done.

That was a nice bit of fluff. Subtle emotions between two very un-subtle persons. Nicely done.

As for a beta, looks pretty good from here. Nothing glaringly obvious to fix. - Miki
