oh... I think that's mainly because Kripke was only planning up to season 5 really. And because of the fans and all, the network granted them anoher season.
But Kripke only wrote/visualized (?) until Season 5, so this new arc is from another producer/writer (?) all together, which is why it feels different. It doesn't matter if the writers are the same if the concept building behind the series is different, then the feel is going to be different.
Personally, I'm just taking season 5 as cannon and some of season 6 as oh fanfiction Chuck wrote with Becky haha.
And I'm sad that Castiel is not going to show up until what? episode 3???
I know, it's just that with Sera Gamble being a part of the team that brought us seasons 1-5, I wasn't expecting the big disconnect I got, especially with the One Year later of change, glorious or not. Episode 2 was a step in the right direction, both series and reconnecting to the audience to Show.
Oh, that would be hilarious if it was Chuck's co-authored version with Becky and while I probably shouldn't be reccing fic to you, I know you're swimming in it, but if you liked Becky even a smidge, you might want to check out If on a winter's night a fangirl. There is fanfiction in fanfiction, Chuck/Becky and Dean and Cas and 4th wall? What 4th wall?
And is it confirmed that Castiel's back in the 3rd episode? Because that means only a few more days left~! Oh and yay for Castiel icon!

Yes. You shouldn't rec fics because I need to study for licensure exams. Haha but okay, I'll look it up when my schedule isn't busier. I wrote an entire POST about supernatural the other week. :p
I think so. I think it's a moses or something episode. I saw it in TV guide or something. That's why I originally thought 3 episodes have been aired already. I'll get to watch the third episode this sunday, not thursday because that's when they upload it in the net. There's no livestreaming here for supernatural in my country.
