The shipment of walkie talkie headsets arrived at the post office yesterday. There are twenty in total. I purchased a batch for our friends in the past, along with some extras in case they're needed ( Read more... )

Thanks so much, Lilly. Those will definitely come in handy. [By now he had completely forgotten about this idea and appreciates it all over again, fff.]

I haven't been to the antique store, but that sounds like a good idea. I know we have a lot to go over already, but I'm going to have to add a few more to the load.

We have a new persona user. His name is Lawrence Bright and he's my room mate, but he hasn't exactly received the best introduction to our group or demons. Since he's been avoiding me, I haven't gotten a chance to explain anything, but we should do that before he gets into any more trouble.

Do you think it'd be a good idea to bring him to the meeting? I don't know him well but he doesn't seem like he enjoys a lot of attention. He might find the rest of you more agreeable, though. I don't want to put this on you, since you've already done so much to get us organized, so just let me know and I'll figure out some way of getting him there.

You're welcome. Hopefully, this will turn out to be a more effective way of relaying each other messages when there are demons about.

Perhaps we can add arranging supply trips to the list of topics for discussion.

[Lillian starts at the mention of Lawrence. He was one of them now, too? What a curious development and hopefully, not a problematic one. Lawrence didn't exactly play well with others from what she had seen so far.]

I know Lawrence. It might be best if you leave him a note about the meeting if he's avoiding you. It'll be better in the long run if he chooses to come.

I hope so, too. I don't think anyone will object to keeping well supplied, either.

Alright, will do.

This should help a lot. Thank you very much. I wonder if we need to send everyone in the past batteries as well?

I didn't even know there was an antique store. If someone mentioned it before, I don't think I remember.

Okay, I'll be there. I'll try to remind myself somehow. Maybe I'll write a note to myself.

I hope so and you're welcome. They'll definitely need to be sent batteries. I've purchased a rather large bulk supply of those as well. Both of our teams should be well stocked for a while.

Principal Ivors gave us the address in response to my previous post. It could be a valuable resource for armaments.

You could. Someone could call you that day to remind you, also.

Clearly I'm bored if I'm replying to this with two characters temperingdreams July 22 2011, 04:57:27 UTC
Hello Lillian. I saw that you made this entry visible to a number of individuals, and I thank you for letting me know what is going on as well. While I appreciate your efforts and commend you for taking the initiative in this matter, please remember to be careful. It will do no one good for any of you to get yourselves hurt. While I doubt there is much I can do, I implore you to take care and not do anything rash. If anything does arise, do let me know. If you feel comfortable with the thought, do keep me posted if anything occurs.

Thank you, Astrid. Your presence on our side alone is a boon. I will be careful and hopefully, others will do the same as well. I definitely intend to keep you informed.

Walkie talkies? Really? We have cellphones!

If you would like to continue to rely on your cellphone and play phone tag the next time we are trying to track down a demon and dispose of it before it hurts people, you are more than welcome to. I can't speak for anyone else but I would rather not lose my only line of communication in an emergency because a demon mistook my cellphone for a candy bar and ate it.

They're headsets, Emi. We can keep our hands free, stay in contact, and pass along messages to everyone at once. It would still be a good idea to keep our cellphones on in us in case we need them but there are situations in which they can be a hindrance.

[OOC: Strike deleted.]

Yeah, how about no. It's called bluetooth. My cellphone has never been a hindrance to me, so you can keep your walkie talkie. I bet they're cheap anyway.

[It takes Lillian a bit to get a handle on her emotions, but not until she's already started crying herself sick. After four months of Emi's nonsense and the study group incident, Lillian's fuse has finally been lit. She debates telling the truth, that she had spent eight hundred dollars on these and would have spent more if this hadn't been a trial run. Lillian knows she starting to buckle under the stress. Whether it's an accurate perception or just her depression talking, she doubts it would matter if Emi did know. Lillian didn't want her pity any more than she wanted her comments. ]

Good luck.

[OOC: She does have a temper. XD]

Thanks a lot, Lily, those'll definitely be useful.

As for the antique shop, I've been a bit busy so I haven't been able to go check it out yet. I'll be sure to check it out before the meeting, though.

You're welcome. I hope so. I think they'll be much more practical if circumstances arise when we need full use of our hands.

Thank you. Maybe you and Heather could go? She volunteered to go as well.
